I want to connect to an internal website which requires authentication with a username and password but the browser which is installed on the XTRend9500 (enigma2-plugin-extensions-et-webbrowser - 1.6.1-r0) does not show the popup necessary for authentication. I tried also to edit /etc/enigma2/bookmarks_hbbtv.cfg manually by adding the line:
mydocuserver :: http://myusername:my...jeandubois/docu
but that does not help neither as the browser keeps complaining about the authentication failing
does anyone here know how to start the browser with the correct authentication?
(removing the authentication is not an option, it is really necessary)
