With new kernel / drivers my TV must be on HDMI1 Input while booting et4000 to get an picture. If the TV is switched to another input while booting ET4000 there will be no picture after switching TV to HDMI1.

This is really really :-(

HDMI CEC is turned off because my TV doesn't support this. I just tried, turning on HDMI CEC doesn't change anything in the described behaviour above.

TV is Toshiba 32c3000p

Any Ideas?

Have you check if there is an update available for your TV firmware... this sound to me to a bug on the TV not on the ET-4000.

I just checked and this TV is HD Ready, which resolution  have you set in AV Parameter? You should use 720p as maximum resolution.

1080p multi is selected. Already tried other resolution, does not help.

There is no firmware update for this TV.

It does not support CEC. After the ET4000 kernel change + new drivers it stopped working as expected. I also switched off the CEC plugin - no help

There was no problem with old ET4000 driver and there is no problem with 3 other HD set top boxes.

Why define 1080p on a TV which is only HD Ready? This is useless you ask your TV to downscale the signal.

Set your STB to 720p, power off everything and test again. Have you already test with a new HDMI cable?
