hi

problem is the dm500hd not support mkv files that have more than 10GB which i had transferred from pc to box

any idea how can make this huge movies possible viewing on my box?

Hi,

10GB is not huge. 45GB is huge. Does this mkv only have a DTS-HD sound track? I have a mkv with only DTS-HD-MA and this also does not play. The log always says that gstreamer cannot find the play position like he does when there is an unknown format.

More precisely does not work mkv with audio DTS and bitrate > 755 Kbps.
example:
DTS 755 Kbps = works PLi 3.0 = works PLi 2.1
DTS 1509 Kbps = not works PLi 3.0 = works PLi 2.1
Problems in gstreamer.

but No.2 and No.3 does not play

so you think with previous version of PLi (2.1) it's possible to make movies No.2 and No.3  good for viewing?

or maybe the developer of pli team can solve this problem.

for example this movie have DTS 1510 Kbps and its works on PLi 3.0 with video and audio and not just with home theater systems have sound but with tv also

Use PLi 2.1

I try to install PLi 2.1 but have problem with mounted devices I could not mounted them

probably PLi 2.1 not accept ext4

I dont no why can't mount point the devices

I use mount manager plugin and try also manually with blkid-UUID to /etc/fstab and no accept mounted

now back with PLi 3.0 and the devices work fine
