Hi guys,

Can you help me again?

I leave my receiver always in standby mode.
Every day when I turn it through the power button on the remote control the screen is locked with the icon "processing ..." at the top of the screen, in the left corner.

processing ... = 2 gears

How do I find the reason to catch this black screen?

Thanks!

I'm watching a program ... I put the receiver in standby mode.

If I wake up the receiver after a short time ... quickly the image of the last program appears and everything works perfectly.

but

If I wake up the receiver after a long time ... (+ 12h) the receiver is locked at this black screen with something in processing.

standby mode for long time = locked black screen

I've done tests installing the image, making only the channel scanning and setting cccam. I did not install any plugins and still is locked on this screen.

Any idea ?

Try flashing a PowerBoard or AAF images for it...

Do you really think that solved this issue....?

To find the cause we need some log data.... So go to the box via telnet or putty... Stop enigma2 via "init 4" and start enigma2 manually...

I have accessed via putty and ran the following commands:

init 4

enigma2

Spoiler

The problem continues.
Every day when I turn on the receiver is locked on black screen.

OK, me a lay person but... Let me ask you a few questions anyway...

You in Brazil, m8?

HDMI or SCART?

Have you tried English or is it BRA POR you are always having?

EPG is loading where to (Flash or USB/HDD)?

If it still is the same error - try PBNIGMA or if you can find an old AAF image, just for fun... ;)

Good luck!

gorski

Yes, I'm from Brazil.

In Brazil we do not have SCART connections.

I use CrossEPG loading the data via usb stick.

I've tried using the English language, the problem is the same.

Already tested PBNIGMA, OpenVix, OpenHDF and OpenATV, but the problem occurs similarly.

Just leave the receiver in standby mode for long time for locked in black screen.

No SCARTs in BRA? I could swear I saw some (Santa Catarina, SP, Rio...)... But I am getting long in the tooth, so memory is playing tricks on me lately... :D

I have had an old AAF in my XP1000 for a long time and no such problem at all... Passed all the online updates and all...

Good luck!

P.S. So is my wife (from BRA), heh... :)

Ha, I had a hunch... :D

Now, does Brazilian lot send some EPG with the signal? And which type? You can go into the OpenPLi EPG settings menu, as you know, and switch it on or off there. Maybe that's enough?

Yes, providers send the signal epg, but do not know the type.

I enabled all of them on the menu (EIT / MHW / Freesat / Viasat) and is working.

Providers always send the EPG (Day + 2) and via CrossEPG are 10 Days.
The information CrossEPG are also more complete and load faster.

I continue with the tests.
If the problem is with the CrossEPG, I'll try using XMLTV Import.
I just need to learn how to configure.

I will test for a few more days.

Thanks!

Configuration is the same, more or less - it just takes longer to download...

From my tests, it is more precise then the other type.

Set it to download around 5AM! :D

Reload at reboot!

Good luck!

EPGImport not have sources for Brazil.

We have to add the source manually.
It can be any time to update.

The problem is not the CrossEPG.

I was watching TV now and the receiver is locked on black screen again.

Any idea what it might be?
