Hi, i have found on my vu solo that the epg only downloads after i have rebooting the box via turning off and on from the mains, has anyone else had this issue or am i doing something wrong ? Cheers

How have you configured it, and when would you have expected it to run? And in what state is your box at that time?
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Hi, I've tried a scheduled download when the box was live, in stand by but it just goes through the motions but doesn't update, then I tried it manually but with the same result. As I say I turn the box off at the wall for 20 secs then back on, download manually and it updates no problem, just don't understand why ?

Hi,
if you import EPG from the internet Solo/DUO and other receiver with only small amount of ram should activate swap. CrossEPG could be very hungry for memory.

Hi,
On Openpli based image it is recommended to use EPGimport instead of CrossEPG, crossEPG is buggy since it doesn't take into account the namespace.

You need both, XMLTV plugin and sources
