Hi there.

 

It's been quite a while since I was last active here, since I've been using a cable provider.

But now I'm back with a dish and my dear old box with the CrossEPG plugin.

Back in the days, when I had issues with missing EPG and/or wrong language in some channels, I made a post here and You fixed it like magic. 

 

Now I have a list of channels where their EPG gives me mixed emotions, so now i will try this out again and post a bouque-file with a bunch of the channels I use today. Can You please check the channels and correct them so they end up with a SWEDISH EPG?

I am sorry, but:

 

1. I do not have the swedish channels on my box.

2. I do not read swedish

3. The only way for me to check is comparing the XMLTV file with the publish epg.  Which is painstaking and slow.  You can better import the epg on your box and report the channels which are not correct or do not have epg.

4. Remeber that even on Swedish websites a lt of channels only have English epg.

Hi again.

 

Long time... 

 

I have done as You told me and created a new DeamBoxEdit-file. (attached)

It contains 2 bouquets, where the first is a collection of my channels with missing EPG, and the other one the channels with wrong EPG.

 

Is this better?

Why do you use some plugin for xmlepg? Canal Digital sends perfect epg, just zap to Motors TV for a few minutes (even if you don't have the channel in your subscription, epg will still be downloaded for all CD channels)
Same goes for Viasat, just zap over to Viasat Motor for a couple of minutes.
If that works then just download plugin "EPG refresh", works like a timer and auto download the epg from specified channels :-)

Also I checked TV3 and it should have epg and the link is in the file:

So you may have another problem:

 

Your use of Crossepg.  It is know this one creates some problems.

 

First you can try using in Crossepg the XMLTV files intead of the XEPGDB files.

But still better use the XMLTV importer.  And import only the swedish epg and check again.

Then  Animal planet should have swedish EPG.

Well, I just gotta say it.... You rock. 

 

I removed CrossEPG and replaced it with XMLTVimport. That did the trick! I now have an EPG which is far better than before.
