Weather to config
YWeather.py

1. Visit  http://weather.yahoo.com/  
2. Enter your city or zip code and give go...  
3. Copy ID from http http://weather.yahoo.com/austria/vienna/vienna-12814970/  ( my case )  
4. Connect to FTP with a tuner and go to / usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components/Converter  
5. Edit YWeather.py    
6. In verse 12/13 switch the Config your City  12# 12815101 - vienna 
13# weather_city = '12815101'  
7. Save and restart the GUI

Weather Icon installation

 

1. Connect to FTP with a tuner and go to / usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components/Renderer  
2. Edit PiconUni.py    
3. In verse 63 switch the Config for your Picon location:
searchPaths.append("/usr/share/enigma2/%s/")
or
searchPaths.append("/media/usb/%s/")
or
searchPaths.append("/media/hdd/%s/") or other location

4. Save and restart the GUI

I tested it on DM se hd OpenPli OE.3.0

After installing over Dreamexplorer to TMP and restart the box still boot and will not start...

I have to play image again from the beginning.

 I tested again and work for me!!

Please put the ipk in folder /tmp and install as :-

opkg install --force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk

LOL,if is DM800 the image are 2.1....

 

Works well in 3.0 but dont work in 2.1.
