the file noforce have u remamed this file to 'force' to force an update without confirmation?

janejak, yes I tried that too.
Still no luck on my ET9000.
I assume I did everything right. Folder name is ET9X00 (this is what I see on the display after power-on) and there are 3 files on the USB stick:
- imageversion
- noforce (or: force)
- splash.bin
I power the box on using the switch at the back, the diode on the stick flashes but there is no prompt to press OK (or anything else) on the display. "Booting ..." follows.
It looks like the box doesn't care about splash.bin file. It probably requires kernel.bin and rootfs.bin to flash.
I wonder if anybody else using the latest OpenPLi on 9X00 can verify that.
