Milo just added the needed changes for the VU+ Duo2 support.
If all goes well with our buildserver tonight it is likely we support the VU+ Duo2 from tomorrow.
We like to hear your experiences.

No, it was not related to drivers.
I was related to the patches needed to correctly build an image, and yes, VU+ supplied the required patches.
The quality (ahum) of the VU+ drivers unfortunately remains something to be desired...
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

No benefits for Solo2 because these patches are intended for Duo2. But there might be some benefits due to new drivers that should also be for Solo2.

They've been done in the OpenPLi 4 branch...

Internally we're working on OpenPLi 4.
And given the fact that the Duo2 is a completely new platform, we're going to directly make a v4 image for it.
And that works now, but there are several things that still don't. We need to check why not, if we can fix it, if VU+ needs to do something, etc. And as long as it's not fully functional (enough), there's no point releasing it.
