When i start up my box it keep flashing the OPENPLI wallpaper and when i press any button on the remote it does not react. Try restarting and it does not help. Help please. Btw its a DM500C

I suggest there are not manu E1 users here anymore... that could be the reason why you do not get an instant reply. Even I do not have an E1 box anymore so I'm not able to verify anything. However on the image of E1 boxes itself nothing did change. So my first advice is try to reflash.

Thanks for the response. What do u mean an E1 Box.. I do not have an null modem cable. So i use FlashFXP to transfer the OpenPLi-beta-dm500-20130505-305.img to /var/keys/ Folder and try starting the box. It still keep flashing the wallpaper. I think i might have screw up the software inside. is there any way i can reload all the software?

As far i remember you should update the box via the stop mode and the webinterface...???

I have screw up the whole thingy.. All i get is the openPLI wall paper flashing when i on the box and I cant even access the webinterface.. Is there any way i can reload all the file for it?

I think the C is a cable version, the S is a sat version. And unless this box is over 5 years old, it's a clone.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.
