Seems there is only an old MQB vs 2.4 in the feed, when I tried it on solo2 with no HbbTv support for red button

if Plnick wants to merge Pullrequest the needed HbbTv button wil be in it for E2Openplugins/MQB-vu version 2.7

No wonder one gets an other MQB version 2.4 from feed, which is older and as the packagename suggests.

It appears that MQB 2.7.13+ is not used from Github at all,

In this case HbbTv for redbutton is useless, as the E2openplugin/MQB is not used in Pli

IIRC the MQB on github is specific for VU+.

LOL

One was complaining long time ago about not commiting back, and pointing out by littesat one is only usin original MQB from e2openplugins
And ther is no point to have it in feeds for Vu+..AFAIK it should also work on others.
http://openpli.org/f...e-2#entry317724

Posted 3 December 2012 - 21:04

Is dit dan ook als commit request doorgestuurd naar de eigenlijke bron e2openplugin? Alleen zo komt die mqb in openpli... Want wij maken gebruik van de originele e2openplugins

Edited by littlesat, 3 December 2012 - 21:11.

Posted 4 December 2012 - 09:20

I don't understand where you heading at delagroov.

Please have a look here, this is the only MQB-version in E2OpenPlugins: http://github.com/E2...iQuickButton-vu

You really dont have a clue appearently....

You want me to look at a repository I did a pull request for the red hbbtv button..

https://github.com/E...utton-vu/pull/2

But it has no use, because as mentioned in above post Pli does not use it at all.  Wonderring Littesat was makin so much fuzz about..

So if Pli want to use it and make it available in the feed, I guess you have to change BB file to use that MQB from e2openplugins, otherwise it s useless..

Yea it was merged, but that MQB version in E2OpenPlugin  is not in the feed, only that one from IHAD (post 2) on solo2.

So I assume you still need to addapt BB file, so it will be build and become available in the feed..

we're using the e2openplugins task-openplugins:

https://github.com/E...-openplugins.bb

in which this plugin is missing.
(perhaps for the reason that it is not platform independent)

Thats explains it then...

Glad one now undertstand .that it would be useless to commit red button HbbTv  support if its not used, for what reason ever.

Yes that is exactly the reason and that is why it never got added to OpenPLi. Delagroov, I wanted you to have a look at the repo to see the description. It says something like "for VU+". That should give you something of a hint already.

Hence why Littlesat was asking(complaining) to commit to it...

What is the problem to use it for Vu machines..

With the MQB of OE alliance, we have no probs to use it on all machines.

So i see no reason why it would be imposable to let MQB work also on PLi.

If you want i can make you contributor to the forked one and you may make the necessary changes

In the 3rd party feeds we can arrange feeds for specific boxes... But for builded plugins this is not done.

The best thing to do is make that plugin not box specific...

Btw..The MQB from IHAD is of course useless(outdated), because red button HbbTtv is not supported.

So whats the value of havin this in the feed.

What is in the feed for Xtrend, an addapted one for xtrend?

For the dmm it is still fine... And personally I'm not interested in MQB... And I know there is still some cleanup work regards schwerkraft plugins. And don't forget those dmm only licenses...

When correctly done there must be something included into enigma2, and I thing you should not re-assign buttons from the usual user interface...
As far I remember doe the et boxes we have one in the 3rd party field... For the vu's we can do the same for time being.

As far as i remember, I provided in the past an MQB version with dutch translation, but I do not have it anymore.
And of course this would be also an outdated version...with no hbbtv

Alternatively one could also fork from Oe-Aliance and delete the specific Vix items, you wont need in Pli
This version is up to date and recently recoded by Andy..(also et portal is in the functions).
Works on all machines...

E2openplugins->fork->oe-alliance->fork->anotherone.... I suggest no way!
Better oe-alliance pushed to where it did come from...

Not sure what  this is about. One forkes a repos, to adapt the contents it to the special needs one has. If there where no special needs, forking won't be needed.

Making a pull request of the changes would present the original repos maintainer with a lot of work, as he (probably) only can use a small part of the changes (if any at all).

Please tell us how you (i.e. Pli) want us to behave in cases like this. Keeping in mind that the Open E2-Plugins are not only meant to be used by Pli, but by more hobby image-builders.
