Ok, i've found the package which causes the error:

it's enigma2-plugin-extensions-backupsuite in version 12.7

I can't look at it for the next week, I'm on holiday with no access to the receiver. Can you donwload the package from the site and test this one because I had no problems whatsoever installing it, I removed the old one and installed the new one from the feed if I'm recalling it well. Could someone take a look at it.
I allways use Notepad++ as editor so that should not be the problem.

I see in the log file that it installs without a problem on an et9x00 and removing the obsolte file in /usr/bin.
Tbe message about the unsatisfied recommendation is just a message no error to be worried about.

But does it install?
Could you remove the package and download and install the package here from the site.
I had several reports the package installs just fine. Could it be a error from the feed.
Again I'm on holiday with very limited acces to internet, I stay just in the few white spots where is very poor reception of 3g signals.
I have to look into it but not earlier then next weekend

Ok, i compared the control files of version 12.6 and 12.7 (see both files in attached zip). In version 12.7 there are some blanks in the last line without new line at the end.
