And if it doesn't - would you, guys, be interested in making one, please?

Pfffffff... I just copied the plugin from XP1000 into Alien2 (HDMU) E2 image and it worked...

Unpack, FTP into SH4 rec and create and/or transfer folders/files

Sources files go to: /etc/epgimport (one must make the folder first).

Plugin itself goes to: /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/EPGImport > Attributes to 755, if needed...

Reboot E2 and configure as desired.

Go to Plugins and start the plugin and download.

When done, restart E2 to see the EPG.

Hehe.... ;) :)

P.S. Before all else, create a SWAP file, so you don't use up all the memory...

Nice if you got this working.  I could not have helped you because, I do not have such a receiver.

Maybe you can put it in a installable file for the Amiko alien?

Not surprised you had to install the python files also.

In order to assess how it woks on an Amiko Alien, Could you post here an import log, pls?  It does not matter which source you used.

@gorski:

See also in this Topic-->http://openpli.org/f...epgimport-mod/. Thanks at Rytec Team and Dima73 for your work :) .

I'll use this on my GM Triplex and GM990 with PKT-Image. Some Users use this also on this image. I would have write the german translation ready. But i need a little bit more Time.

And i adjusted a little bit  in the plugin for me. I'm not finished yet at this time.

To many work.

Regards

Thanx for the ipk plugin tip!

To tell you the truth, I would keep it as simple as possible, so it remains much lighter, faster, more stable and more reliable than XrossEPG!

This simply works, thanx to the authors!!! B)

Doggy, m8 :D

Are you the author of DogSettings app and so on, please? That was for SH4 receivers as well... One my colleagues translated it for you (if it were you), as he liked it that much! He writes aplenty for Mips and SH4, plugins and images, fixes, tools and whatnot... Working on porting the best E2 to A2 at the moment, hence my involvement with testing stuff like this, that is frequently as "resource hog", as he put it for XrossEPG. So, this is really appreciated!

Either way, I didn't have to install Python files at all - they are all in E2 for A2, v. 2.7. As I said, I merely analysed the XP1000 plugin that wouldn't work from the feeds. I kept messing about with it until 4/5 am - pig-headed that I am sometimes... (OE Alliance GIT seems to be in need of some sorting out...)

Anyway, when I finally succeeded (I couldn't get the "Sources" file installed until I did it manually, for instance, and some versions of EPG Importer plugin just wouldn't install/work, sadly...)...

When I made it work in XP1000, I simply copied it all to HDMU E2 image for A2, based in Python 2.7 and it started working after reboot and config. So, this will work in XP1000, also!

Sorry, I am no coder. Just stubborn... :D

Maybe Dima's work is enough? I have to test it in A2 and XP1000 (maybe even AZ HD Elite could benefit from it?) and report back...

So i mean when i restart the Receiver there all so, as before i installed the Plugin.

Someone can help me with that?

Sure i have created all as descripted in this  second Post from @gorski and than i selected Rytec Source for Germany/Austria/Swiss in Plugin Menu and also the Receiver should import it automaticaly after boot.

But there happens nothing.
