Good evening everyone
I am the owner of a DM800 HD PVR, I installed the latest version of OpenPli a couple of months ago, and configured the latest version of cccam with a CLINE a local "provider" gave me.
It worked like a charm for months but stopped 3 days ago. I called my cline provider who said the bouquet provider "Canal +" has changed his encryption methods.

I decided to purchase the official "CANAL + BOX" with the original smartcard
I installed their box and everything worked but I hate their box I really miss the dreambox (picture 4)

I tried to put the official smartcard in the dreambox but the screen stays black (I also tried flipping it but did not work)

I found on the dreambox the following CCcam information client:
card reader /dev/sci0
handeled 0(0) ecms and 0(0) emms

SECA card xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx rev Q03 enttlements:
01e0 ADMIN : 2014-01-22
3420 CANAL SAT..............(picture 1)
On the smardcard I could read "NAGRA KUDELSKI" (picture 3) I did some research and found out it is a company that sells encryption methods, and from what I understood, OSCAM is supposed to emulate this kind of encryption (version 1.20)

I removed CCcam and tried to install OSCAM 1.20 from the plugin menu but had an error
I decided to follow OSCAM's Wiki and installed it manually
http://www.streamboa...cripts/Dreambox
I also followed OpenPli how to to configure OSCAM
http://openpli.org/wiki/OScam

But the screen is still black
I don't know what else to do, how can I monitor what's happening in the dreambox and why it is not working?
Am I thinking wrong?
Thank you for reading and hope someone can help me
Best Reguards

I changed some lines. Beware, not to write stuff concerning WAN sharing. This is not allowed. And welcome to the board.

Hello,

Canalsat works flowless with CCCAM 2.30 Nothing to do just insert your SC 18 or 39 in any slot.. of coarse in the right side...

The softcam in question can make the 18(seca) monthly update, but not the 39(Viaccess).

The HD is not available with both cards.. just SD..

With the 18, sharing is not possible as the card is limited to 2 SID.. That means if you want to make multiple recording, it's limited to 2 chanels.. Otherwise, you take the risk to get your card revocated..

The card numbre seems not to be french.. Wich country???

And all HD channels will not work... as they are using CWOE which only an official box can encode...

Yes but their official box is on RCA or PERITEL only so decoding HD is useless on their box...

I installed CCcam 2.30-r01 via the plugin menu went to the system parameter and definied CCcam as softcam

it does not work, should I edit the config file?

I have no info regarding the encryption for Ivory Coast Canalsat.

I suspect some kind of Nano in action on all chanels.

For french subscriters, the Nano, in fact a surencryption method, is active on HD chanels only.. not SD..

IN addition, it is mentioned Nagravision.. In France one type of card is under Nagravision too.. But for compatibility reason, it's encapsulated under SECA.. Softcam like CCCAM is thus OK as compatible..

May be, one softcam or CAM compatible directly with Nagravision is OK.
Like this CAM, but without any kind of guarantee:

Is it this Sat?
http://www.lyngsat.c...satafrique.html

I can see the encryption is Mediagard.. CCCAM 2.30 avalable from the feeds is OK provided the the card is valid for this month..
There is one plugin in relationship with CCCAM to be installed from the feeds to get all info about entitlements.

I would advise to try with oscam and would redirect you to the French part of streamboard.

I own a 039 and that works with oscam.Openpli but as mentioned no HD available.

If you can, ask them to change for a 039 and buy a CanalsatReady decoder for HD channels.

Good luck, Canal should be banned for their bad services and monopole.

Brussels should punish them but too much money seems to be involved.

I think you said it all... I'm leaving also in same region and I gave the same problem... When you take a look (after updated the channels list) to the encryption you will see that Seca and nagra have been mixed... And the passkey for the nagra part might be paired with their new box...the card give the Seca and THE box gives the nagra key... The problem there will be with the oscam because the have made the NEW BOX undumpable there is no way to get the operating system on the box... No rs232 no usb... Please help needed

CanalSat africa is using a pairing mechanism between the cube and the smartcard so you cannot read it with a softcam.
