Some channels have epg for day and half maximum, and some doesn't have epg at all like canal+ 1, canal+ dcine, canal+ accion... etc. How to get at least 5 days of epg on all spain channels on 19.2E?
Thanks in advance!

Xepgdb is not from us.
Although some are based on our sources.
Nevertheless Crossepg and especially xepgdb are a source of problems.
Do use XMLTV importer instead. And if the problem persists then I will take a look at it.

The spanish XMLTV file is just fine.
Although there is a website (which I cannot get to anymore) which has such an old file.
The reason you see this is probably because you are using an outdated rytec.sources.xml files.
Pls. upate this file It is in /etc/epgimport/ with the attached file.

Thanks, but i don't have epgimport folder and i don't have rytec.sources.xml file so i can just change it. If i create that folder and input that new file in it, how to select that file so i can download from that file. I'm using crossepg svn 300 which i installed directly from plugins on openpli image.

I am sorry, If you keep using Crossepg you will be on your own.
I have spend too much time sorting out problems of Crossepg (or trying to sort out) which later on were proven to be related to a bug in Crossepg. I am fed up with Crossepg.
One tip if you still want to use Crossepg: There are config files for the XMLTV download. Correct these with the info given in the rytec.sources.xml file which is BTW for the XMLTV importer.

Edit:
\usr\crossepg\providers\rytec_spain_xmltv.conf
with this, and import again:

Website: epg_url_1=http://www.tm800hd.co.uk/rytec/rytecxmltvdplus.gz is on the blink today. (Something wrong with it outside my control)
I have on my box for most channels 3 days of epg (today, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow) Some have only 2 days.
Spain is a very difficult country to grab epg for. Not many webpages give more than 3 days of data.
The website of Canal+ give more data but is extremely slow. (Canal+ 2 is grabbed from there).
I could try to move a few channels to this website. Tell me which ones you want to see more data for. The answer all of them is not a corect answer, because first Canal+ does not list all and secondly this would be very slow.
You should also import the epg after 7h00 in the morning. Set the automatic import to some time after this.

I had another look and decided to grab the Canal+ channels from the homepage.
The data will be included tomorrow.
For the other channels I am will to change the grabsite if you can provide me wit a good website which list the epg for more than 3 days. Provided I can write a grabber for it. (not everything is possible)

Hello
I alos have an issue with spain.
Out of the free sources that you've mentioned (
epg_url_0=http://www.world-of-satellite.com/epg_data/rytecxmltvdplus.gz
epg_url_1=http://www.tm800hd.co.uk/rytec/rytecxmltvdplus.gz
epg_url_2=http://rytec.tman.nl/rytecxmltvdplus.gz)
world of satellite program is from 2011
while the two other URL did not answers
Any help appreciate
Posted 12 September 2013 - 12:16
Correct url's are:
<url>http://rytec.sifteam.eu/rytecxmltvdplus.gz</url> <url>http://xmltvepg.wanwizard.eu/rytecxmltvdplus.gz</url> <url>http://enigma2.world-of-satellite.com/epg_data/rytecxmltvdplus.gz</url> <url>http://www.tm800hd.co.uk/rytec/rytecxmltvdplus.gz</url> <url>http://www.vuplus-community.net/rytec/rytecxmltvdplus.gz</url> <url>http://www.ebook-directory.net/rytecxmlepg/rytecxmltvdplus.gz</url>
Old one still exists, but we cannot reach them anymore. Otherwise we would have deleted the files.
Problem is, crossepg is not updated anymore, so links are a bit outdated.
