I fell not so alone. Have same problem here with PLi4 and latest updates.

I was thinking it could be a hardware failure (memory bit), but now I think

it may have to do with latest updates.

Even PLi3 with latest update had problem: not reversing the display, but the fonts seemed corrupted.

I have a DM8000.

I have seen similar screen corruption problems on my DM8000, running OpenPLI 3.0.

Sometimes I have the 'mirror image' problem.

Sometimes the 'infobar', when pressing 'ok' on a channel, gets displayed partially.

Sometimes in MyTube, the currently selected movie is drawn in all white, without showing the information underneath.

This started to happen after updating to the 2013-09-03 build.

Milo,

I think your 'experiment' to solve the GUI issues, by making some buffers static again, actually made the problem worse.

I now see artefacts and incorrect drawing almost eveywhere, everytime.

In the channel selection list, the EPG info, MyTube etc.

Just moving the cursor up and down is enough to show problems.

Adri.

Ah, well, the good news is that the bcm is then likely the cause of it all...

I've reverted the bcm now, try if it's fixed tomorrow. (And then go complain to DMM that they write crappy drivers)

Thanks Milo,

The update from today after reverting the bcm changes seems to fix the GUI problems.

I'll try to complain to DMM, but I'm not holding my breath, waiting for a fix!  :)
