I would like to ask if support for VOA TV Europe (Voice of America TV) and DOS Europe (Department of State TV) is possible. These channels have quiet interesting shows from time to time but unfortunatly no tv guide seems to cover these stations.

Their schedules are published on the official website and seems to be quiet easy to grab.

Service references of VOA Europe (13° East):

1_0_1_64_65_1_82AFC2_0_0_0

1_0_1_F0_65_1_82AFC2_0_0_0

1_0_1_FB_65_1_82AFC2_0_0_0

1_0_1_FC_65_1_82AFC2_0_0_0

Service reference of DOS (13° East):

1_0_1_154_65_1_82AFC2_0_0_0

Schedules:

VOA Europe: http://ibb7-2.ibb.go...ll&satellite=EU

DOS Europe: http://ibb7-2.ibb.go...atellite=ch-340

Some general information about these channels and the schedules:

Thanks a lot

Karsten

In fact it does not look so easy to grab.

Problem is getting the schedule for the correct day, with a single URL.

I will keep on looking how to resolve.

Good news.  I managed to grab the schedule.

These will be included in the Newssection, which is included in most package (certainly UK, France Belgium and Germany and a few others)

Will be a couple of days before the schedule will appear in the XMLTV files (I still have to integrate the schedule - and an upgrade of the grabber was needed)

Schedule should be available now.

However yesterday, I seemed to had a shifted schedule.  So the schedule in your box could be mixed up.

To resolve this, delete all epg in your box (see our FAQ's) and reimport.

Willy

PS: hopefully it is now correct.  This a new grabber, so hopefully no errors are present anymore.

It works fine. I already watched some shows I wasn't aware of in the past because of the missing epg. I can especially recommend 'National Geographic Live' (much better than the pay tv trash channel) and "I Believe with Dennis Wholey" (interviews about religion on a high level).

The schedule is wrong since time shift in Europe. I think the schedule is one hour in advance. But I am totally sure because the schedule is not always correct anyway and currently VOA is sendig a lot of special shows about JFK instead of the regular shows.

It would be great if you could correct this.
