Please define "epgimport" and "down"? I think a little bit more then  "it doesn't work" would be helpful...

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

For me a problem too.

The only thing I did recently was to follow this:

Sources file update.
Willy
Attached File  rytec.sources.02-09-2013.zip   1.91K   68 downloads

I just replaced the old rytec.sources.xml file in /etc/epgimport with the one here: http://openpli.org/f...ndpost&p=370581

Could this have something to do with that?

Possibly, the EPG on my ET9000 has not been updated since.

The update of the UK channels file did not went down smoothly.  I made 3 typo's.

Luckily I have tools to find them.

Busy now uploading the corrected channels file.  Pls. try again after 10h00 (UTC+2).

Ok, I'll see whats going on. Seems only few receivers with problems.

A other problem I've seen, if i set a timer at some channels..e.g. german RTL, Sat1....the timer is finished but the film isn't finished. No problems with german Sky, only this private channels.

Did you set the extra time for the timer to 15 minutes?  I find this necesserary for a bunch of channels.

I mean these:

Margin before recording (minutes)
Margin after recording (minutes)

Margin before recording (minutes) Margin after recording (minutes) Show message when recording starts

I've the default values 3 and 5 minutes. Seems like a problem with the private channels. They do what they want.

I find that 5 minutes before and 15 minutes after is needed.  And in Belgium or Vier I found out that 10 minutes before and 20 minutes after is needed.

Also when you have a football talkshow before the program you want  to record, you better set the margins 10 min before and 30 minutes after.  These football guys do not know the word time.  Everything they do is the most interesting thing in the world.

Belgium is notorious for it's lousy planning, 30min off is quite common...
