Sorry for all the questions, I looked in the Wiki but couldn't find anything...

When setting up my Duo2 I only get signal in Tuner B... Tuner A does'nt get anything.

I have currently only got 1 Twin SVb? Card installed (got another but waiting for my Hdd to arrive before I install them both).

In the back of the STB I have put 2 cables from the LNB into tuner A and tuner B, I go to the setup and put both to advanced, set the Satellite to 28.2E, then go to the signal checking bit... Tuner A nothing. Tuner B, Signal...

So then I put in the setup, Tuner A same as Tuner B.... Still nothing!

Please let me know what I'm doing wrong... I thought it would be a lot easier to setup than this! And to think I've not even bloody put my motor on my dish yet!!!!

Paul.

Question one: do you have lnb('s) that have two outputs?

Question two: did you configure tuner A correctly and then configure tuner B as "same as tuner A"? (not loopthrough!).

1)

I have a Quad Inverto something black LNB. At the moment that goes to my Dm800se

The Duo2 is using my Sly dish with quad LNB. This was working in the Sky box (that has just gone tits up) with the twin cable.

2)

I configured Tuner A & B the same on Advanced. Wasn't sure I even did that right as It's my first time setting one up... However I got signal on tuner B.... Not A

After that I tried making Tuner A same as B but no good... Now they are both set to simple but still only have signal on tuner B.

Also to add, I've not selected the loopthrough as I thought that was for use if I install my other Twin tuner card (hopefully be doing that tonight if my HDD arrives!)

I'll have another little play tonight and report back.

Thanks for the reply.

Paul.

There is a setting "b equal to a", you should at least try that, then you know for sure the problem isn't in the configuration.

Pretty sure I did try it... I'll make sure 100% later on though!

what happens if you switch the cables? ;)

if you have after switching the cables  A signal    B no signal

then one of the cables is broken.

I'm not being funny but that is a stupid thing to suggest that I hav'nt tried that already...

lol, I'll try it when I'm in..... Could be why my Sly box stopped getting a signal. D'oh, Why did I not try that... It had better not be that or I'll look a right tool.

Good job you dont use name tags under the user names!
