To be honest this is starting to piss me off.
First you get this attitude
http://openpli.org/f...c/30586-mgcamd/
After I bother to make the changes to mgcamd to bring it up to compatibility with PLi4.0 you then modify to this "reverts commit 2aaeb77eb23f54b9d30c1ab4161be0bb22f3e24a.
Now there are compatibility libs for 0.9.7 and 0.9.8"
you are going backwards to go fowards
Please understand our attitude. mgcamd is not neccessary for any legal TV watching, so we're quite reluctant to support it.
Personally I think we shouldn't even include mgcamd in the feeds in the first place, for this reason. There are enough other ways to obtain all softcams one desires.

The same can be said for CCcam and Oscam or any softcam for that matter in fact lets make the readers redundant and force people into buying a cam. Please understand our attitude. mgcamd is not neccessary for any legal TV watching, so we're quite reluctant to support it.To be honest this is starting to piss me off.

FYI I have found the best combination for using my card is Oscam as the server and mgcamd as the client this clears picture faster than any other combination I have come across
And exactly what was the last time you tested oscam dvbapi? I overhauled the dvbapi this spring/summer and it zaps faster than ever before. I even included the very efficient CA-pmt code openpli invented quite some time ago.

Is the reverse capmt patch already in the oscam version we supply? Otherwise I think it's worth to bump it.
Still I can hardly believe that mgcamd is that much faster zapping than cccam. I am quite convinced there is only one reason why mgcamd still is being used, and even that argument isn't valid, I've been explained (I am not the expert in this area...)

By the way, where can I read about this reverse capmt patch?
I don't think it's in any way related to doublet's script described here: http://openpli.org/f...ndpost&p=378808

It has nothing to do with encrypted pmt.

If you never test it, you wil never know...
I also use oscam as a stand alone server and MGcamd as a client on my boxes, CCcam sucks...

Same counts for oscam, if you never try the newer versions with apparently improved dvbapi support, you'll never know.

Well I have and I can tell you using DVBAPI on channel change SOMTIMES it will hang and take up to 4 seconds to clear picture.

I use openpli 3.0 and the old mgcamd 1.35a which I had installed for a long time updated my pure Nagra card just fine.
I did some updates and to my surprise discovered that it was replaced by 1.38c.
It is the end of the month and I need to update my card as soon as possible.
I need the original mgcamd 1.35a which was compiled by mixvt without any modifications from the other devs because that's the only version that sends EMMs to my card.
Other mgcamds are no good for this purpose.
I would be very grateful if somebody could send me the old mgcamd which was on the feeds before all these changes.
Finding the right mgcamd via google is a bloody nightmare.
Mgcamdold, which I installed last night, is 1.35, not 1.35a which I need.
