Hello there,

well I wana change stream port from 31339 to some thing custom as I am using dreambox 500s for streaming to my IPTV system. 

can any one tell me or help me to change this port. I think it is in /etc/service but this file is Read-only so cannot edit this file.

please help me as I wana use 8 dreamboxes to stream and it is not possible to forward same port to different boxes my router not allowing me to do so.

It is in etc/inetd . You can probably override it by placing an adjusted copy in /var/etc/inetd.
I don't know exact locations and filenames anymore.

Btw, did you try zapstream for improved streaming behavior? Let me know how it works for you.

first of all sorry as I am noob in the linux stuff. I tired hard to find the file in /var/etc/inetd but failed.

can u please guide me step by step please.
