I don't read PM -> if you have something to ask or to report, do it in the forum so others can benefit. I don't take freelance jobs.
Ik lees geen PM -> als je iets te vragen of te melden hebt, doe het op het forum, zodat anderen er ook wat aan hebben.

???
Everything is possible, but why would you want to, if you can download it from the feed?
If you don't tell us what you want, helping you will be difficult.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Unless it's something illegal of course...

Yes this will work if you have first installed this package:
opkg update && opkg install softcam-support
Otherwhise your softcam won't start automatically.
Moroever you forgot to mention that you need to create a symlink:
cd /etc/init.d/ rm softcam ln -s softcam.CCcam softcam chmod 755 softcam

The symlink creation is what is done when you select the softcam to start in the softcam manager GUI.
In fact softcam manager always call: /etc/init.d/softcam to start the softcam and the symlink point to the real startup script.

CCcam is in the feed you can install it from the plugin and don't think that everybody is using it so there is really no reason to impose it to everybody in the image.
I don't think that pre-installing softcam is in the philosophy of Openpli.
