As the title say I have a small problem with DVB-T USB Siano.

Drivers are installed from the feed, but there is no second tuner....

USB HDD and stick on the same hub are working fine.

Is there any script (cannot find it) to manualy start the driver?

Maybe if you post dmesg output after reboot it can help.

Post full dmesg after restart!

Please login to your box as soon as possible and get the dmesg output.

The following (from your previous dmesg) might be an kernel error.
[<80307710>] mtd_blktrans_thread+0x230/0x358
[<80043724>] kthread+0x88/0x90
[<800057ec>] kernel_thread_helper+0x10/0x18
dmesg can show also a missing firmware etc etc.

There is no messages related with dvb-usb.

Either you perform dmesg command too late either dvb-usb is not working. No other ideas.

The thing that troubles me is that on BH image it works, but I prefer Open PLI :)

So I was thinkin is there a script or some command to start it manualy throu telnet.

Or to write a script in the init.d to push it to work.

After a while and some struggle with my Siano DVB-T I have found a solution.

Simple by adding "modprobe smsdvb"  line into /init.d boot sequence I have a working state of DVB-T.

It would be nice if this could be in next upgrade.

Hello Freon

I have a simular Problem with my DVB-T stick. The box is a VU+Solo2 and i have try BH and VTI Image and the DVB-t tuner works well. With openpli no luck. Ist the same as your Problem. My question is, where and what you had insert? Was it the bootmisc.sh file you had insert modprobe smsdvb?

First try throu telnet modprobe your model ,and restart enigma. If ok enter the same line in one of scripts in init.d
