gettig error downloading plugin

Hi everybody
I have a dm800hd and I have installed Openpli 3.0. All is working ok but not the same when I try to download new plugins.
Do you know if there is any problen with the repository?
If I want a new plugin I have to download it on the web and I have to do a manual installation.

There is no 3.0 available for the dm800hd. Either you mean dm8000hd or you mean 2.1 ;)

2 x vu+ultimo4k ((nb & 9.0r) dvb-c fbc + 1 dvb-s2) + een vu+duo4k ((nb) fallbackclient) met een Synology ds214+ (2 x 6 TB) op DSM 7.1.1 in ziggo oost (voormalig @Home) + A1/A2/A3/HB (TechniSat)

You have checked your network settings?

The network settings are perfect, but I can't download plugins !

My dm says:
Installing etc.....
collected error:
* opkg_download: failed to download http://downloads-pli...d-party/etc....
wget returned 255.
* opkg_install_pkg:failed to download etc....perhaps yiu need to run opkg update?
* opkg_install_cmd: cannot install package etc....

That link says "downloads-pli-images.org", and not "downloads.pli-images.org" ?


Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

I think you have some ISP or carrier that blocks our site.

I don't know why everyone keeps mentioning "downloads.openpli.org". That DOES NOT exist! The download mirrors are behind "downloads.pli-images.org".

Actually it does:

 

$ host download.openpli.org

download.openpli.org has address 85.17.146.12
$ host downloads.openpli.org
downloads.openpli.org has address 85.17.146.12
 
$ host downloads.pli-images.org
downloads.pli-images.org has address 194.109.193.76
downloads.pli-images.org has address 85.17.146.12
downloads.pli-images.org has IPv6 address 2001:1af8:4100:a01e:3::12

 

But the webserver may not like the host: header.

It does because openpli.org has a * DNS entry... But there's no service responding to it.

I still wonder why the TS's box wants to connect to "downloads-pli-images.org", instead of "downloads.pli-images.org" (note the dot instead of the dash). I can't imagine that this error is in our images, this hasn't changed since it was introduced?

 

Could it be that this box doesn't run an (official) OpenPLi image (maybe because it is a clone?), and the TS has forgotten to mention that?
