Hi,

I have problems importing selfgrabbed xmltv-data. The file got build by webgrab+ and a selfmade site.ini for Jewish News One. The xmltv-file seems to be valid since I can open it with another tool (nxtvepg). There aren't any errors in the xmltv plugin log after importing. All settings seem to be correct. Does anybody have an idea what went wrong or how I could search for the error?

All related files are attached.

Thanks

Karsten

The grabbed data and the private channels.xml look OK. These should import.

I miss sources sources.xml file and epgimport.log. See our FAQ's on how to obtain them, or how to create your own sources file.

Content of epgimport.log:

[EPGImport] nextImport, source= selfgrab
[EPGImport] afterDownload /nas/Dreambox/xmltv/guide.xml
[EPGImport] afterChannelDownload None
[EPGImport] Using twisted thread
[XMLTVConverter] Enumerating event information
[EPGImport] ### thread is ready ### Events: 2348
[EPGImport] imported 2348 events
[EPGImport] #### Finished ####

Content of sources.xml;

<sources>

selfgrab

</sources>

I have checked all settings several times without finding an error. Normally I also import much more channels from different sources without any problems. I have reduced the number of imported channels to Jewish News One just to make it easier to identify the source of the problem.

The importer can find the channels file and the guide file. It imported even:

[EPGImport] ### thread is ready ### Events: 2348

So. There must be something wrong with the service ref.

1:0:1:6A7:3138:13E:820000:0:0:0:

But I checked on my box and Jewish News One has this service ref:

1:0:1:6A7:3138:13E:820000:0:0:0:

So it is OK.

This puzzles me to.

You can try removing the empty lines in the channels file. But I doubt this is the problem.

Another thing is trying to save the channels file as an ANSI file. (Convert the file with Notepad++ to ANSI - Under Coding)

It isn't.

Doesn't help eather. And if I add epg for other channels with the same settings everything works as it should with the other channels. I also tried to import the Jewish News One epg to another (=wrong) station. Still the epg is missing at the wrong station. Because of this I think the epg data is the source of the problem.

One special thing with this station is, that it has the shows each hour, so that the epg file repeats 24 times each day the same order of shows. Could this cause an error?

Too bad, it did not work. As I remarked before, I am just guessing as well.

I just noticed:

 <programme start="20131015000200" stop="20131015002000" channel="jn1">

The timezone is missing here. Do not kow why yet. It has to do with the grab (Webgrab++). I will have a look later today to the siteIni. And do some test grabs to see if I can improve things.

Karsten,

Try this in your webgrag++ SiteIni:

site {url=jn1.tv|timezone=UTC+00:00|maxdays=28|cultureinfo=en|charset=UTF-8|titlematchfactor=50|episodesystem=onscreen}

You forgot a + in the UTC section.

Let me know how it is going.
