Hi,
I think that we can address an issue to Openpli about this.
I create a small test:
this one is the raw test working:
#SERVICE 4097:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:rtsp%3a//stream2.france24.yacast.net/france24_live/fr/f24_livefr:France 24
#DESCRIPTION France 24
But of course no EPG.
In this one I create a IPTV stream but reusing the Astra 19.2 identifiers of France 24
#SERVICE 1:0:1:1AF9:3FE:1:C0000:0:0:0:rtsp%3a//stream2.france24.yacast.net/france24_live/fr/f24_livefr:France 24 EPG
#DESCRIPTION France 24 EPG
EPG is display but it doesn't work (normal type is 1).
So I create this one:
#SERVICE 4097:0:1:1AF9:3FE:1:C0000:0:0:0:rtsp%3a//stream2.france24.yacast.net/france24_live/fr/f24_livefr:France 24 EPG
#DESCRIPTION France 24 EPG
EPG is working but no channel is displayed because the Name Space (NS=C0000) is valid to a satellite that i can receive so this confuse E2.
In this one I create a dummy Namespace (not reusing the one of DVB-C or DVB-T), so I use BBBB0000
#SERVICE 4097:0:1:1AF9:3FE:1:BBBB0000:0:0:0:rtsp%3a//stream2.france24.yacast.net/france24_live/fr/f24_livefr:France 24 EPG
#DESCRIPTION France 24 EPG
I have then the image but not the EPG.
Of course a solution is to create our own EPG .xml file to include the EPG of those fake namespace.
But I think that a smarter approach is to allow this to work:
#SERVICE 4097:0:1:1AF9:3FE:1:C0000:0:0:0:rtsp%3a//stream2.france24.yacast.net/france24_live/fr/f24_livefr:France 24 EPG
#DESCRIPTION France 24 EPG
We define a no-ts stream type (service 4097) but we can reuse an existing satellite reference since it exist and is already in the STB memory.
I think that if service type is 4907 the namespace should not prevent the channel to be displayed.
Can you have a look at it OpenPli?
