Hi All,

XBMCAddons is for running xbmc addons on enigma2 images. Tested on dm500hd and et9500. New version XBMCAddons.v5.0 is attached below.

Addons, script-modules and software can be installed on-line.

Select Addons in the first screen for options (see screenshot). After install - return to first screen and select Addons again

EXTRA SOFTWARE:

Please install all software in Install Software (screenshot.jpg). Always install the latest "update" item. After installing "update" item - Restart enigma.

OE1.6 and images with python2.6:

Please install all software for OE1.6 - then reboot image.

ADDON SETTINGS:

Addon settings are in addon folder /resources/settings.xml. Many settings are not useful for enigma2. But you may change language, country etc. Put your chosen settings in default=. But for type="labelenum", put your choice as the last in the values list. 

BUG REPORTS :

If you have any problem - post the crashlog. If no crashlog - in first screen - select Debug -> 'Yes'. Exit plugin and telnet commands :-

init 4
killall -9 enigma2
enigma2>/tmp/e.log 2>&1 &

Start plugin again. When you have the error - copy the file /tmp/e.log - zip or rar it - and post here

Now i see it... Hopefully the u i stall does work now and also it does not install stuff in the python root anymore.

It puts in 4 small .py files in /usr/lib/enigma2/python. When the plugin is uninstalled - these are removed with the .pyo files. Is this a problem ?

I will have to change the code for that. I will do it in the next update.

I see no Edit button !

I think it is only allowed for about 5 minutes. Then you either need to ask a moderator or perhaps you can be granted a special right to do that - I don't know if that is possible.

Is this plugin (v.5) working for anybody ?

Don't worry, like other similar projects, just add the latest at the end of the thread and we shall test it and report back, when possible...

any chance of adding the DR NU Player and the Danish Live TV plugins if you have a chance and its possible

This is working great for some addons. Simply Movies for example haves nice quality movies.

Pitfully that there is no posibillity to come back in the menu to select the subtille player while the movie is playing.

Is there no workaround posible, a manual action in some .py file that I can change?

Test box is DM500HD and ET9000 with OpenPli 4.0, both works fine with the Xbmc v5 plugin

I will have to change the code for that. I will do it in the next update.

I am trying to do some improvements - if possible. Anyone can give me a link to the subtitle plugin - and briefly say how it works. I have never used it.
