Hi All,

i`m facing problem with automatic scan of DVB-C tuner(CXD1981), the message is: "ed khz pll read adapt" in OK or FAILED frequency field.

The Automatic Scan is working in Newnigma2 images.

attaching logs from enigma2 of OpenPli 2.1 and Newnigma2.

The strange thing is in the begining of the scan, the Newnigma2 image have some delayed close of the frontend...

Please, if someone can help me will be great.

the 'automatic' scan requires some external userspace binary.

We've implemented a 'cablescan' instead, most (all?) cable providers provide the necessary information for the cablescan to work (and find all provider channels).

Much faster as well.

Thanks for the reply.

You are right, but not in my Country. The cable providers are not providing this information. And very often they are changing the frequencyes.

Hi,

You can create a file cables.xml placed into /etc/tuxbox/ and use this file to launch a scan.
