Hi!
I have a e-sata disk installed to my DM500HD, ever since I initialized it I have had problems with HDD freezing or not responding. It seems that it doesn't matter if the box is left on or if its in sleep mode, when I want to use the disk for recording or playing recorded movies the gear just spinns until I switch of the box with main switch. Often when I start up my box, the HDD is already spinning without recording and the result is that I have to reboot the box after startup.
The HDD worked fine when it was installed inside a DM800HD.
Any suggestions on what to do?
