Hi, please can you tell me if is problem only my, or no. I try connected and mounted file system NTFS, but it is not supported, write me this:

root@dm800se:~# mount /dev/sda1 /media/usb
modprobe: FATAL: Module fuse not found.
The disk contains an unclean file system (0, 0).
Metadata kept in Windows cache, refused to mount.
Failed to mount '/dev/sda1': Operation not permitted
The NTFS partition is in an unsafe state. Please resume and shutdown
Windows fully (no hibernation or fast restarting), or mount the volume
read-only with the 'ro' mount option.
mount: mounting /dev/sda1 on /media/usb failed: Invalid argument

And second question, not function Movie via Openwebif. Please, can you tell me, how to fix?

Thanks.

Hi,

Connect your USB disk to a Windows system and perform a filesystem check.  Your HDD is in a unsafe state and file system needs to be corrected.

You can now only mount it in read-only.

Hi,

If you plan to leave it forever on your STB I would advice that you format it in your STB directly.

It will be formatted in ext4 which is a standard Linux filesystem and it will be better than trying to use a NTFS formatted HDD on Linux.

Moreover the HDD will be shared on the network so you can easily access it (or use FTP if you prefer for file transfer).

I have the same problem on XTrend ET4000 with OpenPli 4.0, OWIF 0.2.5 and file system NTFS. Menu "Movies" and it is only spinning and files are not by displayed in frame ...

HDD is mounted and files are over FTP visible.

The old version OWIF was OK.
