Hi Willy,

I tried to install (with the method on rytec.be) it but I got this message:

Extensions/EPGImport (No module named gzip)

and no EPGImport was in the Plugin menu.

Is there a solution to this?

Hi to everyone,

I have the sam problem after install EPGImport : No module named gzip

Plugin extracts in usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugin/extensions/EPGimport and trough ftp you can see all files in folder but from plugin menu says: no module named gzip.

I have python 2.7.2  -r8.17 and try to install files from pytons-utils.zip but without success.

Getting this message:

2q1w7ih.jpg

Image is OpenMips.

Can someone please help ? Thanx!!

Thanx to Trom/Delfi (my translation):

For SH4 receivers there is a small problem: dreamcrc.so is a mips binary, which SH4 receivers (Alien) doesn't deal with very well - occasionally using much more memory etc.

Attached you will find the SH4 version.

Enjoy!

Yes, delete the old one, then place the SH4 version, there: /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/EPGImport > right click on it > File Permissions > 644.

Restart E2. Configure EPG Importer (not too many providers) and download, test and tell, please... (I can't do it right now...)

Good luck and hopefully njoy!

Bad news , no luck :( .

Same error is showing :

rku0yf.jpg

I try to change attributes , but nothing.

Do I have before that install some other EPG plugin , like EPG Refresh or something like that ?

Or I have to reinstall image or switch to some other image like OpenVix or OpenRSI ?

I was talking about a SH4 receiver (Alien 2/STi 7162), for those users....

You possibly have a mips receiver, like a majority of users...

Best way is to ask your image provider to build the program for your hardware. The plugin with full source and recipes to build it in OE are publicly available on github.

Finaly I managed to make it work  :) .

I took gzip.py file from OpenPLi and put it through ftp in OpenMips user/lib/Phyton2.7 dir.
After that everything works flawlessly!

If OpenMips now will include gzip in their image or on the feed, everything would be OK.
