I think you must ssh root first but no root passwd to find in the downloaded file of OpenPLi-4.0-beta-vuduo-20131111_usb.zip

I try with non, root, vuplus, dreambox etc. I think it verry hard to write down the text in a texfile and put in the downlladed zip. Trye another one and start over.

@idgforum: Did you try conect  to your box with telnet (user root, no password). If you are logged in you could try the commans passwd to set a new password.

                   after set the new password ssh login works on my box

Hello,

to fix the webif please do this:

1) ssh to box as root

2)  vi  /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/OpenWebif/controllers/base.py

3) search the following lines and replace Old to new:

OLD  (line 206):

#Translation

    tstrings = []
    tstrings.append({ 'movies': _("Movies")})

    ret['tstrings'] = tstrings
    return ret

New (Line 206):

#Translation

    tstrings = { 'movies': _("Movies")}
    ret['tstrings'] = tstrings
    return ret

4)Reboot the box

5) try and enjoy

It's easier to take the file from http://openpli.org/f...ndpost&p=386179 And yes, build-run hasn't been successful last night, so there ist no update available at the moment.
Most problems can be solved simply by a closer look.
