Hello, good morning.

 

I have this problem on some chanels : France 2 , TV BREIZH ( and may be other )

I have the EPG of sunday for the EPG of saturday.

France 2 and TV Breizh are grabbed from a different website, So it is not a website problem.  (or a general problem)

 

But I have seen this behaviour before.  Mostly it is caused when the grabber is skipping a day due to a miscommunication on the internet.  This happens sometimes but I never found a solution for it, because mostly when I saw this the error happened in the past, and it is fixed now or is not happening now.

 

pls. try deleting all epg and reimport pls.  Look if the error is still there.

Since I do not have much time today, I will need to look for it tomorrow, So I will need to know if the error is still there tomorrow.  Pls. focus on one channel with the error and give me as much information as you have on that channel.

Ok doglover;

 

I delete de EPG.dat , reboot the VU+ and reload the EPG on Rytec Carabean Csat/Canalsat XMLTV.

I have the same mistake

on France 2 : for example Sam 23.11, 21:45 Les Femmes du 6e Etage. ( it's the sunday EPG)

on W9 the same error

on Paris Premiere same Il etait une fois l'empire 

SYFY , TV Breizh  same

I found some time.

Indeed in the XMLTV file, the schedule is a day off.

But when I grab it now, it is correct.  So I start thinking.  I had to change something in the grab schedule and the last couple of weeks the Caribbean schedule was grabbed now around 4h00 in the morning my time.  Which is around midnight your time.

 

And I know you should not grab around midnight, because al kinds of date confusion can happen.

 

Did 2 things:

 

Changed the grab schedule so the Caribbean schedule will be grabbed after 5h00

Introduced a rigorous date checking line in the grab definition.  (at least for one webpage)

 

I am sure tomorrow the schedule will be OK.  The proof will be in the next days.

 

Please check:  France2,  Breizh, 13rue, discovery science, Stylia or Cuisine

 

(these are downloaded from different webpages, so I need to know if these are OK now - I mean on Monday)

I delete de EPG.dat , reboot the VU+ and ....

Make sure to stop E2 ("init 4") before deleting epg.dat. The data is held in RAM and if E2 isn't stopped the old data will still be there.

Ok doglover : I grab at 6h45 ( local hour  ) , I change for 8h45.

 

SarKiekerd : I use the blue panel VTI fonction : Delete broken  epg.dat .

06h45 your time should not be a problem. This is 11h45 my time so well past my updatetimes.

But I changed the download time (again) yesterday.  Hopefully it is better now.  You should see the changes now.

OK.  Problem is the canalplus website, which I should not grab around midnight (your time).  And because of the time difference, and the times I grab, mostly the grabbing is done just around midnight your time.

I'll do it now just before midnight my time.  So that should be better.

No it's only on Canal+ HD I it's Saterday 10h and I have the sunday EPG : the movie "les gamins" but in reality it's sport Rugby. For the other chanels it's good .
