Install it (either from plugins or manually), once installed you can select a different skin in the config, under system, skins (I think).
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.
Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

1. The easy way is to go to plugin, and install from downloadmanager
2. If you download the skin to pc and the file is: name-something.ipk you can use FTP program and send to /tmp. Then install from menu of STB, Menu-setup-softwaremanager-install local package Select flash and the package Can also be done manually in Telnet with command: ipk install /tmp/skin_name.ipk
3. If you only have downloaded the skin folder you FTP this to: usr/share/enigma2/ <- Here u also can remove them by deleting the folder. Backup is advised!!
With all the above options you still have to go to menu-setup-system-skin and change to you favorite skin.
