I have a problem with my motor dish and by giving the latitude and longitude it does not stop on correct degree.

For example when I change to Hotbird 13 east it stops on 15 east.

Is there any option to set and save a desired position?

I tried to do so from Positioner Option and save the position in memory index but no luck.

Can you help plz?

Thanks for your response.

My problem is in positioner section when I save a position on one of the indexes and change the satellite, the dish won`t go to the previously saved position.

My tuner configuration is set on Positioner. Is it right?

Can we save a custome dish position via Position section in OpenPLI image?

Yes, but using USALS of course you can't.
So either use USALS or store positions.

In the positioner plugin do a send to zero. This ensures the hall effect sensor in the motor is in sync. Now set to usals. If it still doesn't work properly your motor is adjusted wrong or the wrong Co-odds have been entered. If it is the motor adjusted wrong you can correct this temporarily by fudging the usals longitude.

If I want to use Store position option, what type of Mode should I use in Tuner Confiuration?

Right now its on Positioner.

In fact my motor had an issue and I had to change the Kit inside it.

So say no to 'use USALS for this satellite'.

Can you please be more specific?

In Tuner Configuration My settings are now on Simple and Mode is on Usals.

To which setting should I change?

Go to advanced, choose DiSEqC 1.2 and no USALS

I really appreciate your prompt responses.

So I do that and then from Positioner option Save each satellite direction on separate Memory indexes?

Then each satellite will be directed to the designated direction?

a100, before you can fix a problem you need to know what is wrong.

Start with USALS. Do a send to zero in the positioner plugin. Now you need to know if the dish is out on one satellite or all of them. If it is out on all of them (and by the same amount) this means your motor is not set up correctly.

So first thing is a send to zero, and next check if all satellites are out or just the odd one.

a100, if you need to switch from USALS to DiSEqC1.2 to "fix" the problem you are just hiding it not curing it.
