Hi Guys,

I love Openpli 4.0 works lovely and am in the middle of personalisng it a bit to my own needs, anyway I have been using Crossepg which i downloaded through openpli itself worked ok I use only Open TV which i use for 13 east and 28.2 east, any way this past week it does not update when i i select with green button and yellow button to download it get about 3/4 of the way through then it stops and i get home screen for openpli 4.0 and channel comes back on but with no sound until i change channel and i get sound back tried 4-5 times same results also same with 13 east when i try that satellite.

Anyone else on here having same problem using crossepg and Open TV ??

Thanks

Then it is best to use what the plugins do best: Cross for Open-TV and XMLTV-importer for all XMLTV imports.
Don't run them at the same time, then you'll be fine.

Oh, if you use a low-RAM box, the use of a swap-file is advisable.

so i cant use open tv for 13 east and 28.2 but i cant use xmltv for other sats like 30 west etc ??

As I said: you can use them both. But please use Cross only for Open-TV on 13E and/or 28.2E.

as i use usb 4gb stick in rear of stb to save picons and crossepg info on what i didi next was -

take usb out of stb

then connect to laptop or pc tower

drag picon folder onto your desktop

reformat usb to fat 32 (slow fornat)

add picon folder back onto formatted usb stick

Plug back into stb

and there you go all sorted crossepg open tv all works fine job done .........
