please look to the debug. I have confirmed that the second receiver is decoding channel, and that are not network problem because manually added stream from the second receiver is working.

There is no relevant information in this output. You don't have a password on the webif/streaming interface by chance?

Try this on the local receiver:

wget -O /dev/null -Y off -S http://192.168.1.5:8001/1:0:1:12c7:2e7c:13e:820000:0:0:0

The header info is important and also whether actually data is received or not.

That would help if the remote receiver isn't decrypting. But normally this isn't the case. Also some manufacturers' receivers can't do decrypting from the network (or can't skip the decrypting on the remote side), so I would not recommend using that mechanism.

Having said that, robert_cz, it may be you forgot to configure "descramble http streams" in the configuration of the remote receiver. Copying the file you received to your PC and trying to play it with e.g. VLC might be interesting.

I have made more tests and I have more conclusions and informations.

First final I have found what to do to temporary have this functionality with not encrypted channels:

Is obligatory to start receiver with satellite cable connected and tuner enabled if not even recorded .ts files are not working :-(

Example from one of the records. I can see that system is reading from disk, but I do not have nothing on the screen.

The same I have with the remote receiver, when I start with tuner enabled, and cable connected I need only to change tuner to "not configured" and everything is working until reload receiver.

Can you confirm if you have the same with your receivers?

I don't understand? Remote fallback tuner vs. recordings?

Please note that not all receivers can record from a http source (be it a remote channel or a fallback tuner). See http://openpli.org/wiki/comparison.

recording, .ts file, was only example of other think that have the same symptoms like remote fallback tuner.
That not working for me.

So if I understand you correcty, the problem is like this: You want to play a recording (file.ts) and it only works if the receiver has a satellite tuner connected and enabled. I can't explain that. I've done this so many times. Did you synchronise the lamed (althought that shouldn't even be necessary for this to work). Never pull or insert a satellite cable if the receiver is on, it can damage your tuner!

Have you check in your if you have the same, that *.ts files ar not working with disabled satelite tuner?

Yes, playing right now. Setup: VU+ Duo2 with three tuners, all of them disabled ("not configured"), tested with live reception from remote fallback tuner, check - works, went to the recordings directory selected several recordings and they're just playing.

Do you have a common/same lamedb between all receivers, what I recommend?

yes I have the same lamedb. Last one doubt, after switching off tuners have you make hard reset?

My receiver is ADB5800xx, and distribution is http://nbox.xunil.pl...aterlia_Project, project page do not have english version :-( is based on Openpli.

Possibly is problem with specific hardware.

I doubt whether it is relly based on OpenPLi. It is not even MIPSEL.

I suggest that only the image name is based on OpenPLi, not much else. ;)

Yes is based on the source code of OpenPLi, actuality on the source code from  2014-10-31, you can find all distribution history (on Polish :-)) here http://nbox.xunil.pl...ia_aktualizacji

Is based not on MIPSEL, but on SH4.

Can you, please, check if *.ts files are working with switched off tuner and after the hard reboot?

I need this confirmation, because looks that for some reason on my receiver when I'm trying to open *.ts file receiver is using tuner for demux and Video play:

Video Device: /dev/dvb/adapter0/video0
demux device: /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux3

There is nothing in OpenPLI that is MIPSEL specific, so porting it to other architectures should not be a big issue for someone with a bit of experience. It even runs on x86.

Problem is usually the DVB API which is absent or not compatible, which can only be fixed in the drivers(which might be the issue here as well).

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.
