I probably can write a grabber for:  https://data.cytavis...ll&category=all

However the greek channels have a Greek EPG.

However all the others are in English.

Willy

Cytavision doesn't have all the Greek channels, EPT2, EPT3, SKAI & ALPHA (Greek one) are missing. It is mostly for Cypriot channels.

After the event title I have this ....<span class="epg _close_up....
Also in Discovery Turbo Xtra (DTX) instead of event title I have info title and reverse....I mean that I have epg title like " episode 10 " and in epg details it's saying "Fifth Gear" and the details...also DTX still show wrong time epg ...it's playing the previous from what epg say's

OTE: Removed the HTML tags in the title.

DTX:  Is a bit more complicated.  On the webpage I grab from, the title and subtitle are for some channels switched.  In the spot where I expect the title the subtitle appears and so on.

Other channels have it the other way around.

The solution I came up with is combining the title and subtitle in the title field.

However in some instances the subtitle is mentioned first.  Which looks odd.

Hope you can live with this.

First of all I hate Crossepg for reading the XMLTV files.  It is not all plain sailing.  If it works for you fine.  If not, I cannot give support on it (beside adding channels)

Better use the XMLTVimport plug-in.  On OpenPLi the plug-in is on the feed under the extensions tab.  (near the end of the list)

OTE and Nova EPG are imported with the same XMLTV file.

So enable:  Rytec Greece XMLTV

If you only need this Greek EPG, it is the only source you should enable.  This will also include the EPG of the FTA news channels.

@maniasg:  The new grab is uploaded now.

I also tried something on the DTX channel.  Tell me if this is better now.

(I compared another channel with the schedule on OTE - Foxlife - and adjusted the grab accordingly.)  But maybe I have to further fiddle on it.

Titles I think are ok now....but wrong epg ....now it's playing Overhauling and epg say's
Now:King of cash
Next:Fifth Gear.....
King of cash according to cablenetcy starts 13:57 and then is fifth gear...so is something wrong with time ...

I have attached a screen shot of DTX from  cablenet.cy

Let me explain something about timezones:

Some websites will publish a schedule in a certain timezone.  Times are fixed.  No problem.

Other websites will have timezone button on their website on which you can select the timezone.  No problem there.  However their websites have mostly in their database (and that is what I grab) the times as GMT, and the setting you apply is simply input for the a javascript which translates all the times to your selected timezone before showing them on the screen.  So when grabbing you have to be carefull.

Now there is a third type of websites.  This website also have their schedule in GMT in their database, but detect automatically in which timezone you PC is operating, either form your PC itself of from the IP address (which is bound to a country code) and correct the shown schedule automatically to the timezone of your PC (or what it thinks it is)

I think the cablenet.cy website belongs to this last category.  But I am not sure.

I looks like this need some more investigation.

It seems the tags are not gone yet.  I do not quite understand.

On my testPC, I do not see them anymore.

I will recreate the XMLTV file from scratch, and upload this asap.

Done some further checking.

All new grabbed information is OK.  You can see this when you go to schedule of Next Wednesday en further.

However the old information (unchanged from previous grabs is not corrected)

This should have happened (but it did not)

The action I am taking now (recreating the XMLTV file) will correct this.

However this takes some time.  The grab is running.  I hope to upload the new file by lunchtime today.

It is possible to do this, however the info on the website is not consistent.

Sometimes it is just the other way around.  Even within the DTX channel.
