I am a big fan of OpenPli images since thé beginning.
I actually have et6500, et9200, dm500, vu duo, vu ultimo, gigablue 800 and quad (openpli based), dm800 and dm8000, etc..
I know OpenPli stop supporting dm boxes.
To get ac3+ working with last dmm drivers (2013-12-18), I had to change my dm8000 favourite Pli image to another one. I use it for 10 days now and I do not get any trouble with ac3+ channels (dvb-s2 and dvb-t).
The images I tested are not as good as Pli ones are, I miss Pli image on my dm8000.
I hope there is a Santa claus in the team who will offer me a working Pli image for my dm8000. (I know it is a dream but.....)
Thank to all Pli Team for their job for years.

I do not have any problem with pli4 and ac3 channels.
But with channels are using ac3+ ?? So I can test.

I do not have trouble with ac3, only ac3+ as the ones provided by Dvb-t channels (french/spanish tnt).
I can send you a small ts file (record) with ac3+ inside if needed.
Due to local provider encryption system, dvb-t is the only solution to get hd channels.

DM5620, DM500S, DM600, DM7000, DM7020, DM7025, DM800, DM8000, ET9200, ET6500, ET7500, ET8500, VU+DUO, VU+ULTIMO, GB800SE, GB800HD all with OpenPLi
Only the DM5620 went off in 2012 ! DM500S, DM600, DM7000 & DM7020 have been sold in 2014.

ServusTV HD on Astra 1, 19.2E, is FTA and has AC3+ audio.

On Vu+ Duo Open Pli4 it good sound on ServusTV HD Deutschland AC3+ (E-AC-3)

Yes, it works on ET, VU, GB but not on DM8000 using last drivers (2014-12-18). Using another image, it works.
Does anyone test it with a DM8000 / DM800 ?
