Sorry doglover, I just updated the epg and now NBA TV has the Fox Sports epg... could you please correct it? Thanks! Ps. Still no epg on channels 13, 14 & 15 'cause the beIN Sports website is not updated. Should you put back the script from French package for 13 and 14 (BeIN Sports France) and the US Spanish website for 15 (BeIN Sports ñ) or should we wait a little more if they fix it?

I will put it back. Unfortunally I totally erased the grab refs instead of just remarking them out.

Dear doglover,

thank you for fixing NBA and all the support!

Since yesterday I can see only a time data (eg. 14.30) in the BeIN Sports channels epg instead of the title of the event.

(except on 13HD, 14HD, 15HD, FOX and NBA which are from different sources)

In the description field there are some info about the event, but there must be something wrong also with the duration/data field (eg. an events starts before the previous finishes).

The epg on 15HD is one day ahead (eg. for Saturday is inserted the Sunday schedule).

Could you please check and fix it?

Thank you!

Yes problem. I got the message from another source also this morning.

Fixed it.  (website change)

PS: For 15HD - I have to study this. Had this problem before - other channels - but the solution is not always straight forward)

Dear doglover, there must be something wrong with the timezone on 1-12 channels (it seems that the epg is 3h back). 15HD is one day ahead. Could you please check it? Thanks!

1-12: Confusion about the time zone.

I assume the beinsport give the time schedule as UTC+3.00 (Saudi timezone)

And this is the time I grab it in.

This schedule also the schedule as published on the etfarag website.

I can simply shift it, but it looks like if have it correctly set now.

Am I right in thinking that these channels at 7W are missing EPG:

1:0:1:A8D:1B:800:DCA0000:0:0:0: beIN SPORTS 1

1:0:1:A8E:1B:800:DCA0000:0:0:0: beIN SPORTS 2

1:0:1:A90:1B:800:DCA0000:0:0:0: beIN SPORTS 4

These are there:

1:0:1:A8D:1B:800:DC70000:0:0:0:

1:0:1:A8E:1B:800:DC70000:0:0:0:

Not the ones above.

Same problem as on 0.8W (Thor). Some boxes scan a different Namespace.

Will add them.

Thanks for adding them, Willy,

I believe there is also beIN SPORTS 1 at 26E: 1:0:1:4:7D:2BE:1040000:0:0:0

Can anyone please confirm this is indeed the same as beIN Sports 1 at 7W?

Hi Willy,

There is one more channel without EPG:

1:0:1:20FA:1F4:13E:820000:0:0:0 - beIN SPORTS Global

Is there a website for that?

Also, I think there is still no EPG for the following:

1:0:1:4:7D:2BE:1040000:0:0:0 - beIN SPORTS 1

1:0:1:A8D:1B:800:DCA0000:0:0:0 - beIN SPORTS 1

1:0:1:A8E:1B:800:DCA0000:0:0:0 - beIN SPORTS 2

1:0:1:A8F:1B:800:DCA0000:0:0:0 - beIN SPORTS 3

1:0:1:A90:1B:800:DCA0000:0:0:0 - beIN SPORTS 4

1:0:1:A91:1B:800:DCA0000:0:0:0 - beIN SPORTS 5

I cannot check this on Nilesat

But these are included:

1:0:1:A8D:1B:800:DCA0000:0:0:0:

1:0:1:A8E:1B:800:DCA0000:0:0:0:

1:0:1:A8F:1B:800:DCA0000:0:0:0:

1:0:1:A90:1B:800:DCA0000:0:0:0:

1:0:1:A91:1B:800:DCA0000:0:0:0:

And the xmltv file contains data for these

Will add this one: 1:0:1:4:7D:2BE:1040000:0:0:0 - beIN SPORTS 1

Hi doglover,

thanks for the work on BeIN epg ...

I have found the issue while using it in Middle east, all times are -3 hours. am I doing something wrong? or is something wrong with the scraped data?

Thanks!

doglover,

sorry for the new post, couldnt find a way to edit previous one ...

here is a snip of what I am seeing in rytecxmltvosn.gz , http://pastebin.com/vrXc24d8

issue is that that specific game was supposed to start at 19:00 GMT which is what +0000 was supposed to be, instead it shows its starting at 16:00.

times on BeIn site are in mecca time, which is gmt + 3

cheers and thanks again,

amet

You should not look at the times in the XMLTV file as the file is produced in timezone (+0000)

The schedule is grabbed in Mecca time (UTC+0300) and converted to UTC+0000).

This has a reason, which I am not prepared to discuss.

Enigma boxes will interpret this correctly and present the correct schedule, provided you have set the correct timezone in your box. (which should always be the case).

ok, without discussing what the reason is... time is still incorrect.

if schedule is fetched Mecca time, above game would have been 22:00. You converted it to UTC and it should have been 19:00 and not 16:00

Cheers,

amet

No I do not think so

In the XMLTV file:

  <programme start="20140218153000 +0000" stop="20140218190000 +0000" channel="bein1hd.jsc">

Manchester City vs Barcelona (L)

    <sub-title lang="en">UEFA Champions League</sub-title>
  </programme>
  <programme start="20140218190000 +0000" stop="20140218193000 +0000" channel="bein1hd.jsc">

UEFA Champions League Summary (L)

  </programme>
  <programme start="20140218193000 +0000" stop="20140218213000 +0000" channel="bein1hd.jsc">

Manchester City vs Barcelona (R)

    <sub-title lang="en">UEFA Champions League</sub-title>
  </programme>

On etfarag - Mecca time:

06:30 PM UEFA Champions League: Manchester City v Barcelona (L)
10:00 PM UEFA Champions League Summary (L)
10:30 PM UEFA Champions League: Manchester City v Barcelona (R)

Which constitutes in my opinion the same schedule.

all games start at 19:45 UTC time -> http://www.bbc.com/s...league/fixtures

mecca time is UTC + 3 so it should start at 22:45 and not "06:30 PM UEFA Champions League: Manchester City v Barcelona (L)"

all champions league games start at 22:45 mecca time , or 23:45 GST where I am.

link to screenshot of beIn site schedule -> https://www.dropbox.... 1.06.02 PM.jpg

cheers,

Oh yes. They start as you pointed out.

But, I can only grab what is available on the websites. If they are wrong, i'll be wrong.

The only thing, I can think off is the schedule I am getting is in UK time (UTC+0000) instead of Mecca time which the website is saying at the top.

I will change the timezone of the grab. Do a grab and update the xmltv file on the websites. So you can try it today around 11h30 (UTC+01) today.
