Im using a Technomate TM-2T, and after installing the Black Alu - Coolman skin i have had a few problems
When i try going into any menu i get the Alu background but no text. Then after a little while i get an error message saying the STB encountered a software problem and needs to be restarted.
But as i cant go through any menu's i cant change my skin back to the original one.
Im new to all this so any help would be amazing

The thing you could do

 

Telnet to your box and type init 4

Ftp to the box and

delete the line "config.skin.primary_skin=yourskin/skin.xml" in /etc/enigma2/settings 

 

Telnet init 3 or reboot the box

OpenPLi does not support your Technomate TM-2T box

contact the creator of your image, which he has based on OpenPLi

When you say open pli does not supprt my Technomate box, what do you meman? Its been working for past 12 months.

I might have to reboot my box with the installer tomorow.

we only support boxes that are listed on the middle right size of our homepage: http://openpli.org/ , see the Nightly Builds

 

as OpenPLI is OpenSource, anyone can use it to build other images for others boxes that we dont support

sadly the other creators dont change our OpenPLi bootlogo's or mention that their software is "Based on OpenPLi"

Ah i got you, thanks for clearing that. As i said im no where a tech head so when i sound clueless i am honestly clueless
