you have to remove it via plugin menu still, only then it will appear again in plugins available for download
(opkg still 'thinks' it's installed until it is deinstalled properly...)

plugin browser > remove plugins (red) > systemplugins > hdmicec

Ok, that worked, thanks!

But now after installing the plugin from the feed, it shows following message in the plugin section:

"Some plugins are not available: SystemPlugins/HdmiCEC (No module named DreamboxHardware)

                                                    SystemPlugins/HdmiCEC (No module named DreamboxHardware)"

What can i do now?

hmm, looks strange to me...
if I remember correctly there's no such thing like DreamboxHardware module in OpenPLi image for over a year (it's stbhardware now),
but in OpenPLi's hdmicec plugin I can't see any reference to dremboxhardware module...

so, just to be sure:
- do you use 'original' OpenPLI image (and not any OpenPLi based one and/or not installed in any kind of multiboot)?
- is your image up to date?
- are you trying to install openpli's hdmicec plugin from the feed and not some third party plugin?

uninstall then re-install it.

Or simply reflash the box, you'll be up and running in less than ten minutes...

@blzr

Yes, I use the original and updated Openpli Image and try to install the plugin directly from the feed

@MiLo

I tried un- and reinstall several times. Same result.

Good, idea, but how can i reflash without losing all my preferences?

Save your settings with autobackup (to USB stick or harddisk), you can find that in Plugins.

The settings will automatically be recovered at the first boot, if you leave the stick or harddisk connected.
