I have tried to flash my vu+ Duo2 box with the latest build of OpenPli 4.

But its verry slow and the spinner shows between 1 - 2 seconds for every press of the remote. So just to complete the first time wizard takes for ever.

I can try to change from one line in the menu to an other and its not responsive at all.

I have tried other images and they are not this slow at all. I have googled this problem but with no result.

Is my box broken or what?

As soon as the wizard is done, it's all normal. It is something of the vuplus duo2, no other receiver has this problem.

The problem is the timekeeping. It can be resolved either by setting the date manually (using telnet/ssh and issueing the date command) or setting it semi-automatically using ntpdate or ntp or by completing the tuner setup and switch to a valid channel, the time will be set automatically, then.

Well actually this question has been asked numerous times (FAQ), but  it might have been in the Dutch section only.
