Hello everyone.
Do you know how to recognize if a 500S is original or klone?
Is it possible to read this in the MAC-adress or what?
Will try to flash two 500S and wonder what OpenPli-image I shall use.

Welcome on our forum.
OpenPLi 500S Mandarin has nothing to do with a clone DM500. It's just the same image except that it has the Chinese language (Mandarin) installed as default language.

Do you know how I get the 500S in flash-mode?
On the 600PVR and HD800 I press the POWER when I connect the powercable.
What to do on the 500S?
Is it possible to flash through FTP or do I need to use the serialport?

A 500 is a piece of antique, it doesn't have all that.
You either have to use the 'cramfs' method, or use DreamUp and a serial cable, see our wiki: http://openpli.org/wiki/DM500install
