Go to Croat channel you want
1) Press 2x yellow
You got to the Subtitle selection menu
2) select teletext , but not the croatian, but something else language
3) go again with pressing 2x yellow to the Subtitle selection menu
4) select now Croatian teletext page
See, if it now OK or not? With step 3) you set the pid and page and magazine number to memory.

Yes but still no croatian characters are showing correctly. That fix was only for estonian, latvian and russian languages.

Hi!
News in Dropbox:
https://www.dropbox....sh9k/XJ081rencw
In Dropbox is a working solution with instructions on how it works.

experim2_img_est_lav_lit
subtitle_patch

A configuration file is created during the first loading of subtitles (enable subtitles on some channel).
The configuration file is named teletext_overwrite.conf and is located in /etc.
The file consists of one line "NationalSubset %d", where %d denotes an integer value.
The default value is -1.

Parameters can be in the range -1...12 (not checked, do not enter other values)
-1 Automatic, national subset is read from the stream
0 Slovak, Czech
1 English
2 Estonian
3 French
4 German
5 Italian
6 Lithuanian, Lettish
7 Polish
8 Spanish, Portuguese
9 Romanian
10 Slovenian, Serbian, Croatian
11 Finnish, Hungarian, Swedish
12 Turkish

Dream Explorer can be used to change the configuration with the remote, FileZilla or DCC make it possible to change the configuration over the network. The new configuration is applied after channel change.

How did you come up with these numbers ?

Is 20 for Arabic for example ?

And why we don't have arabic in https://github.com/O...vb/teletext.cpp ?

Thx. I think they should end up as an enum in the enigma2 source code, so it's clear.

See the post #30
(Additionally I implemented cyrillic charsets.)
In the same way you can add the Greek and Arabic (of course, with the local contribution). Be the first to do it.

Yes, even better. But at the moment we're (again) trying to freeze enigma for a stable release. As soon as there is a "development" branch (which could be any moment), I'd commit it. If I forget, please remind me.

Actually, our stuff is fine, but the development need for Greek and Arabic, if they have teletext subtitles.

Here:

you can see, what we have and what is missing.
Greek and Arabic are just missing (my answer to Persian Prince).

Please wait a short while, while we're sorting out our development strategy and resources.

I dont know if there are Greek teletext subs in any service to test.

Strange that nobody from Greece never mentioned that!
