A further questions after migration from OpenPli 3 to version 4..

Are all plugins and drivers listed into the Build in Downlodable list that is displayed compatible with new 4 version?

I ask because i noticed that some of them (almost all to be honest) are downloaded but not installed.

Is there a specific location where are stored and sorted?

thank's

Everything that is downloaded is also installed. There is no mechanism for downloading only in the package manager.

It could be that what you see as "already downloaded" are packages that are part of the initial image, and therefore pre-installed when you flash the box.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Using telnet, you can check what is available (for download and installation) using:

opkg list

And what is installed:

opkg list-installed

You didn't get me...

i've been trying to install few plugins available into the "build in" plugins list

Once choosed... the receiver seems to download and install the plugins but....

once came back to main plugins page i would expect to find it in the installed list (usually with a image that rapresent it visually) but i found nothing...

nothing change even with a enigma2 restart.

from here it comes my dubt and question if all the plugins displayed into OpenPli 4 list are REALLY compatible with version 4

Most of all i was looking for :

Remote control buttons remap

Cross EPG

AutoSwitch off  (when no buttons are pressed for a specific amount of time)

and a Flash expander.

Any help or tips?

thank's

The "plugins" memory entry is NOT a list of plugins (unfortunately) but it's a place where plugins can put "stuff". A plugin could also add two entries into that list. Many plugins use it for their "settings", and some don't show up there at all.

Got the matter so...  can you suggest me where to get those 3 (for me most important) plugins  compatible with the Version4 ?

Cross EPG

AutoSwitch off  (when no buttons are pressed for a specific amount of time)

Auto switch off is already build in. I think you can configure it under menu > restart/shutdown.
