Hi.

Once i got my OpenPLi4 working i was getting more deep info options and tools.

I noticed that on every channel i can't get programming info longer than the running program and the next one...

I wonder if i'm blind and can't see how to visualize the WHOLE day (or even more weekly) transmissions list.

Can someone give me a tips?

thank's

Most channels only broadcast "now and next". For extended EPG you must often download from external sources, e.g. with xmltv.

I don't read PM -> if you have something to ask or to report, do it in the forum so others can benefit. I don't take freelance jobs.
Ik lees geen PM -> als je iets te vragen of te melden hebt, doe het op het forum, zodat anderen er ook wat aan hebben.

When is comes to programme data (EPG), there are several things you need to know:

First, the DVB standard provides NOW and NEXT capabilities. Most channels use this (but not all), it's not encrypted, and Enigma uses this to show it in the skin (your running and next one).

Next, every provider has some kind of mechanism to provide EPG data. Again, some use the DVB standard, called EIT, and is not encrypted. Examples of these are the Belenux and the German providers. Others use a proprietary system, which is sometimes encrypted, sometimes not. Some of them are supported by Enigma, either because they are not encrypted (for example UK Freesat), or because the mechanism is known. You find all these readers in the setup, epg section, where you can enable/disable each individually. By default they are all enabled.

If your provider uses a proprietary system which is encrypted and uses an unknown algorithm, we can't build a reader for it, and Enigma can't pick it up from the transponder. An example of that is SKY UK.

For these providers, the workaround is to import EPG data from another source. Luckily, there is a standard called XMLTV, which documents EPG data in XML format. The Rytec team (they have a subforum here) provides XMLTV files for a large number of providers/countries. You need the XMLTV EPG Importer (the plugin that does the importing) and the Rytec XMLTV plugin (which provides the XMLTV sources), both are in the feed.

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Mine is SKY Italy

With my original SkyHD decoder (old ugly but working) i can see almost 2 days of "to come" programs...

It mean that the Ugly decoder possibly decrypt the info?

You mentioned a Sub-forum...  can you link it ?

As i understood is basically an "offline" browser of scheduled programs for each channel of a specific provider?

It's something manual (download - ftp to dm - import - use ) or is something automatic once installed the plugins?

thank's

Its done automatically, just install xml importer plugin (its in the openpli feeds)

After installing dont forget to configure which channelepg it should fetch!

Indeed. Install both the EPG importer and the Rytec Sources.

Then start the plugin (via the blue button or from the plugins menu), select that you want to import SKY IT, what time you want to do that daily (> 07:00 !), and save it. You can run a manual import (yellow button) to check the result.

Hmm... That is odd, these packages are generated by our buildserver, so I'd say the md5sum should always match?
