HI,

 

I really like default openpli skin and i like SHD picons (220x132).

 

Then i decide to mod the PLi HD skin and decide to share my work with you.

 

Main changes was about increasing the picon size in infobar.

 

other changes are cosmetics: 

 

- change date and time location in infobar.

- change main regular font from nmsbd to hdthin (nmsbd is just commented in the skin.xml file)

- change infobar progress bar

- change volume rogess bar

- change selection bar view.

- plus other little things that i don't remember.

 

Standard picon size can also be used, they will be stretched.

 

But I recommand to use SHD picon provided by ocram at http://picons.bitbuc.../downloads.html

Picon used in following screenshots are shd.transparent-black-nopadding

Thank you, this is a fantastic mod!

 

I have looked for some time now for a simple skin with picons that are not as small as in pli.

 

I have a question, that is is not primarily related to this mod, but I have always asked myself, whether it would be possible to locate the bar in the movie player at the bottom of the screen instead of at the top, where it often disturbs the visbility of the pircture.

I just put it on our 3rd party feeds... so from the next build it will be on our feeds.

A little comment..

While recording,the red rec button blinks all over the time/year.

Maybe another place in the skin for this blinking rec button?

Thank you for the notice and corrected (i never use recording feature :-) ).

 

I think that new position should be OK. Let me know if not.

is it possible to enlarge the detailed EPG info in the screen as shown above?
I mean, the fontsize?

I like to edit it myself.
Maybe it is better as it is right now but i just want to see it myself.

I got the programme e2skinner.
But don't know where to edit ?

PliHD skin can not be edited with e2skinner (compatibility ...)

 

to increase the EPG description fontsize, search in skin.xml file for:

 

line 173:

    <widget source="session.Event_Now" render="Label" position="60,200" size="570,345" font="Regular; 20" halign="block" zPosition="1" transparent="1">

 

line 185:

    <widget source="session.Event_Next" render="Label" position="650,200" size="570,345" font="Regular; 20" halign="block" zPosition="1" transparent="1">

 

And increase the numbers in bold.

 

Save and restart enigma2 to see the changes.

 

Above lines are located in SecondInfobar screen:

 

  <screen name="SecondInfoBar" title="Second InfoBar" position="fill" flags="wfNoBorder">

 

If you know the screen name, then you can locate each part of the skin and make your own modifications.

It not easy but not hard !

Hi, I have a question for the author, where can I find the ability to change "highlighting the position" on the beam or bar of a different color can gray (for me the same backlight is a little difficult to read) and thanks for the good job, skin regain its former glory.

Hi @talbs on your second picture in the first post is a channel selection and would like to channel 108 was highlighted the gray beam, as in the original skin. Sorry for my english

OK get it 

 

Go to /usr/share/enigma2/PLi-HD-talbs-mod-SHD-picon/buttons/ folder.

 

With DCC (or any FTP program) transfer sel.png and sel2.png to your computer and with paint for example, change the color of these black pictures to grey.

And FTP them back to their default folder on your box.

 

Finished!

 

or, you can get back the original sel.png and sel2.png from original /PLi-HD/buttons/ skin folder on your box and copy/paste to PLi-HD-talbs-mod-SHD-picon/buttons/ folder.

 

Again finished!
