Hello, I have just installed Openpli 4.0 on my Vu+solo2, everything works well except I realized that I cannot restart CCcam via the blue panel.

When I rest to restart nothing of takes place, the window closes and nothing produces it.

If I press on the button OK of the remote control I have a green screen and my Vu restarts.
How to solve this problem? Thank you in advance
.

Skin error. Since you're using the MetrixHD skin, that is probably the culprit. Without modifications it is not compatible with OpenPLi.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

I could return the question: Why upgrade your box if all is working ok....

Openpli is under constant development. Actually its a developers image for developers with bleeding edge innovations. If latest version doesnt work out for you revert to a working one.

Most of the time an upgrade will be harmless but once in a while you will run into issues. Just report the issues so a dev can fix it.

Tnx!

It can be with some skins you do not see anything in the softcam setup... If this happens this is skin related... The softcam setup uses config and called it entries. Yesterday I changed it so more facilities from config are used. So now it is config.

If you see nothing then change in your skin.xml in the screen ScSelection the widget entries to config.

I added also a new widget named info. This shows you the ecm0.txt in the softcam setup.

See our basic PLi-HD skin for all details... The screen is in skin.xml there...

Thanks for sorting this out. Working again just fine after today's update and with the extra info bit you've created but to put the record straight, I'm using openpli default HD skin and the problem was present yesterday as stated. Love this skin and it's probably the main reason why I'm using this image in my solo2.

Where is "skin.xml" located and what should i add in it to bring back softcams setup?

thanks
