Hello,

i need some support. After re-installing of Openpli on my receiver Xtrend ET9200 I got an issue.

On some channels when movie or tv show is 4:3 originally, I have 2 black stripes from left and from right on the screen.

I don't like to have those lines and I always transfer 4:3 to 16:9. Peoples looks stange then, but this is not an issue for me.

After re-installing of Openpli on my receiver, I can't remove these black stripes.

In A/V settings menu I put 4:3 to Just scale and 16:9 to be auto.

But it looks that these settings doesn't work.

Previously I don't have this issue. Can you advise how to solve it?

Hi,

if it is a HD channel then the bars are part of the image and only your TV could remove it if it can.

ciao

Yes, it is s HD channel. My TV can adjust this, but not correctly. Scaling is too big and image on the screen is partially out of the TV... I don't remember well, but I think before re-insalling, I haven't this issue.

You are probably wrong.

OpenPLi image never removed those black bars on HD channels.

You must have confused that with SD channels.

Maybe I am wrong. Honestly, I don't remember how it was before re-installing of Pli. I got info from local forum here, that probalby ratio is managed automatically by Operator.
